The Toyota Etios is a line of four-door sedan and hatchback cars produced by Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota exclusively for the Indian Market. The Etios nameplate comes from the Greek “Ethos”, meaning spirit, character, and ideas. The sedan version was launched in December 2010 and the Liva hatchback was launched in June 2011. As of 2011, the first generation of Etios has sold more than 30,000 units in India. The Toyota Etios was first showcased at the 2010 Auto Expo in Delhi as a ‘concept car’. Trim levels for the Etios are: J, G, G+, V and VX.
The amazing Etios has its engine imported from Japan. The petrol variant comes in 1.5 and the diesel in 1.4 variants.
